I am now 204.4 which I am ecstatic about! I've lost roughly 4.2 lbs total. Very soon I will be under 200 for the first time since before my 3 year old was born. Very big milestone and it gives me great motivation to keep up all my hard work.

I was able to give myself my first weight-loss reward this weekend. My cousin and I went to Bath Junkie yesterday and I got myself some body dessert for my gym bag. Body dessert is a spray on lotion you put on after your shower while you're still wet so it can soak in. For those who have never been to, or heard of, Bath Junkie; it's a bath product store that sells scrubs, washes, lotions and more and you choose your own combination of up to 3 scents and then a color for your own customized bath products. My choice was Vanilla, Brown Sugar, and Hazelnut. I colored it pink because thats my favorite color. Bri (cousin) got a shea butter lotion colored blue with the scents wedding bells and strawberry. It really smelled like strawberry champagne.

In knitting news, I am still working on the bottom piece of Tasha. I haven't really had some sustainable knitting time. I do plan on setting aside some time each day to focus on knitting. I'm really looking at knitting Dream Swatch over at The Garter Belt. It looks like it would be a really quick knit and would come in handy for both work and the gym.

35 pounds to go....

Hey all and welcome to my (almost) super cool blog! This is mainly my knitting blog but it will also have some about my quest to lose weight. I am currently 208.6 lbs. as of Monday and I hope to be 170 by July 20th and then I will set another goal. My favorite past-time is knitting while on the treadmill at my local gym, hence the name of the blog. On the right side you can see my current works in progress and what's next to be cast on. I'm also adding somethings to keep you all entertained if you're bored. Thanks for checking this out!

-J

BTW: I thought the flowers would add a nice springy touch!
